Response to Theresa May's visit

Commenting on the Prime Minister's visit to Harrow, Adam Bernard, Liberal Democrat candidate for Harrow East said:

"The Prime Minister has some nerve to come to an area that is home to so many people who have come to Britain from all over the world, and talk of reducing immigration.

The Conservatives' targets for immigration bear no relation to the needs of Britain's economy, and appear to have been chosen entirely according to what makes a good soundbite"

Liberal Democrat Shadow Home Secretary Brian Paddick said:

"The Brexiteers told us that leaving the EU would mean we could be more generous to our Commonwealth partners, it is now clear that this was another Leave lie"
