Petition to Theresa May: Apologise for unlawfully deporting tens of thousands of Indian students

While Home Secretary, Theresa May wrongly deported 48,000 international students, 70% of them from India. The decision was made on the basis of flimsy evidence and an obsession with appearing “tough” on immigration. Thousands more students have had their courses terminated on the basis of insufficient evidence.

Theresa May and the Home Office have both refused to apologise.
